biographical notes
Unknowing has become important to me.
Too much certainty dulls the experience of painting and its results.
I've worked as a painter since completing my BFA at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University. After my degree, I traveled, lived, and worked in the UK for 2 years.
Back in New Brunswick, after living in various communities, I established a gallery, Joie de Vivre - contemporary art and craft, and worked as gallery director for 15 years. At the gallery we prepared and presented numerous exhibitions, giving professional representation to New Brunswick artists.
In 2006 I was included in Colin S. MacDonald’s A Dictionary of Canadian Artists, Vol. 8.
I now live in Riverview, NB, where I maintain a studio and gallery. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
